Founder/Instructor: Dianne Carola

 Dianne Sporko-Carola is the founding director of The Dance Factory, established in 1978.  Since then she has instructed almost 5,000 students, specializing in children and teen classes of ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, lyrical, African, and Zumba.  Ms. Carola has instructed children as young as two years old with tremendous success.

A valuable asset to any studio is a knowledgeable, experienced and professional teacher who stays current to today's ever changing developments in the field of dance.  Ms. Carola continues to study with such professionals in NYC as Patricia and Lesley Lockery, Dorit Koppel, Andrey Stilantyev, Finus Jhung of Alvin Ailey, Maryann Strilka, Jimmy Sutton, Helen Gaus, and the legendary Constance Reynolds of the Civic Ballet Center, to name a a few. Several of her students have gone on to become dance instructors themselves or continued their dance careers on a professional level.   

Ms. Carola has been a certified Zumba instructor since 2010.  She is also a past choreographer for the Galway Players.  She was the dance instructor/choreographer/teacher of the dance program at the Galway School District for the years 1993, 1994, 1995, and from 2010-2012.  She is the official hip hop teacher for the Lake Ave. Elementary School in Saratoga Springs.  She is the Artistic Director of The Dance Factory Dance Factory where she teaches all forms of dance and is the producer of several performances yearly.  To date, Ms. Carola has produced and directed over fifty shows with children of all ages.

Ms. Carola is a registered member of Dance Educators of America since 1987 (Certified by test to teach) and has assisted gymnastics at the Saratoga YMCA.

She has three daughters, all which love to dance and still continue to do so today.

Instructor: Rachael Sporko
Rachel SporkoRachael brings over 25 years of dance experience to The Dance Factory.  Having won over 300 awards by the age of seven, Rachael's specialty is her attention to detail and precision.  She is an expert in all areas of tap, hip hop, and jazz.

 Her students enjoy her energy, creative spirit, and passion for dancing.

Having instructed students in NY and Miami, Rachael continues to study with top professionals in NYC.  She is a performing dancer with the dance company "Danceworks NYC" where she recently performed twelve numbers at Columbia University in January 2012.

Rachael is a Champion Rower, receiving a full athletic four year scholarship to the University of Miami.  She recently graduated with honors and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and Dance.  She has trained hundreds of clients at Canyon Ranch Miami and Lennox.  She is also a sports nutritionist and personal trainer at Crunch Fitness, NYC.

Rachael returns to Saratoga as a guest teacher  several times a year and is the daughter of Dianne Carola.  Her latest achievements include her first music video for Tristan Clopet in Miami Florida and coaching college rowing in San Diego, California.

Instructor: Anne Marie England-Adler
Ann Adler brings over 35 years of teaching experience to students of dance. Her training includes the American Dance Center of Saratoga Springs, NY, with Phyllis Latin, the Royal Academy of Ballet in London, England, the Miami Conservatory, with teachers Thomas Amour and Robert Pike.  A summer at Interlochen Music Camp in Michigan, and Martha Mahr School of Ballet in South Miami, FL. Ann performed with the regional Miami Ballet Company and her professional experience includes the Milwaukee Ballet, Fusion Modern Dance and the Saratoga Ballet Companies.  She received her Associates degree from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.  Ann has taught Theater and Dance at the American Dance Center, The School of the Arts, Glens Falls Ballet and Dance Center, The Dance Factory, Susan Sanford School of Dance and in various private schools offering classes and workshops to students of all ages.  Serving as Director, Choreographer and Costumer for both Theatre and Dance Productions throughout the Capitol region area, Ann’s enthusiastic teaching style and creative approach have made her a popular instructor for both young and old alike.
